My son's been at Body Rock for 7 years and still loves it, which says it all.

Most of the kids who join us started by bouncing round the living room, copying moves they've picked up off a screen, and hungry for more. That's where we come in!
At Body Rock, they'll learn the foundations of the dance and start to channel all that energy into skills they'll love to show off. They'll pick up real technique, make friends, and challenge themselves to level up their dancing as time goes on. Kids who start with us tend to stay for years, and seeing their progress over the long term is always amazing.
“Bodyrock has been a game changer for my son. He loves going to the sessions, and Dave is so encouraging and supportive. His confidence has grown dramatically since starting. Big recommend from us!

“My boys absolutely love dancing, it's brought out so much confidence in them, it's unbelievable. I can't recommend Body Rock enough, my kids get so excited when they know their dance class is coming up, it's all they talk about.

“My son joined breakdancing at 7, and six years on he's thriving within the community this group has created. New skills keep coming, and his confidence and self-esteem have grown right along with them. I'd recommend Body Rock to any parent whose child wants a well run, supportive group that becomes a real community through the teenage years.

All they need for their first class is loose, comfortable clothing and trainers. It's fine if all they've done so far is copy moves off a screen in the living room, that's exactly where most of our dancers started. Classes are fun, friendly and welcoming, and if they're nervous about joining in there's no problem with them taking their time before stepping onto the floor.

I started dancing at thirteen when my mum brought me along to a social dance class and I fell in love with it straight away. I've been teaching for over twenty years since, always putting fun and self-expression first; those are the core principles of our classes at Body Rock Dance.
Teaching dance brings me deep joy, watching students take a step forward, grow in confidence, and cheer each other on. I'm so proud of the positive, supportive community that thrives in these classes, and I look forward to it every single week.
